The Indiana Center for Employee Ownership (INCEO) is an Indianapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing education and advocacy on employee ownership across Indiana. Dr. Richard Van Doel founded it in 2017, when only five state centers existed nationally. It builds understanding of employee ownership among business leaders, public officials, employees, media and academics, with an emphasis on ESOPs as a succession strategy. It also offers owners resources, ESOP data and referrals to experienced professionals, and has partnered with the Central Indiana SBDC on ESOP transition training.
